12 x 12 x 12 will be supporting 12 different charities throughout 2022 and each marathon (or running event) will have at least one ‘guest’ #Maraminion with a special link to their charity…
Vassos Alexander has already committed to supporting StormBreak UK where he is a trustee. I will update you more soon as plans take shape, adding specific event details and telling you more about each charity and why supporting them is so important.

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
In Memory of my Mum who lost her battle with Lung Cancer, RCLCF Raise awareness and fund research into treatment and early diagnosis
Macmillan Cancer support
In aid of the support Macmillan provided my Mum and our family from diagnosis through to end of life and the millions of others across the UK
Jane Tomlinson Appeal
A fantastic Leeds charity supporting Cancer and Childrens charities across the UK who I first ran a MaraMinion marathon for
Sue Ryder
Wheatfields Hospice provided end of life care to my Childrens Grandad and supported their family and many others through end of life care.
Stroke Association
My Dad suffered a severe stroke in 2014 and the Stroke Association do great work in raising awareness and supporting stroke victims.
StormBreak
As a Trustee for Stormbreak, Vassos Alexander (VasstheMinion!) supports the great work they do improving childrens’ mental health
Christies Hospital Charity
Christies provided cancer treatment for both JohntheMinions Mum during Chemotherapy and also DarrentheMinion’s daughter who underwent Proton Beam Therapy.
Crohn’s and Colitis UK
A great friend suffers from Ulcerative Colitis and its debilitating, C&CUK raise awareness and funds to treat, support sufferers and research for further treatments and cures.
Lupus UK
Another great friend who has also supported me professionally suffers from Lupus, an incurable auto-immune disease. Lupus UK like C&C UK are raising awareness and funding research
